LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 8

Pop it!

Week 8's challenge is to give your layout some dimension - get that stuff popping off the page 3D like.

I felt this LO was a hard one to photograph - So I had to include some extra closeup shots.

LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 7

Hip Hop Hooray - I got to play another week. :) Truth be told there was a twist this week - no one was voted off from week 6 and we merged tribes...Now called "Glua Da Paper".

So week 7 brought us you to complete a layout that included the title "when I was a little girl" and must have pink on it.

Week 6 and the Glua Glua's still have 10 members...Woot Woot!

This weeks challenge has 2 parts!

First - we had to split our tribe in half.

Second - half of your tribe must scrap their high school graduation picture.

Your layout must have:
a high school picture of you (graduation),
name of your high school,
and the title... blast from the past.

The other half must scrap lift this page...


Your layout must have:
background pages that are phone book pages,
a piece of fabric,
something homemade,
piece of masking tape.

Week 5 already - Wow time is flying by.

So this weeks challenge is to use a filmstrip type of pictures on your layout! YIKES! I must admit, I am not a huge fan of filmstrips BUT I totally had fun doing this LO though.

LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 4

So this weeks challenge at Let's Capture Our Memories was:

1st -- All tribe members must put their heads together and come up with a QUOTE... this quote will be given to the other team to scrap with!

2nd -- All tribe members will be required to complete a layout using the quote from your opposing tribe.

The Paper Pushers gave the Glua Glua's this quote to work "Don't Cry Because It's Over, Smile Because It Happened."

LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 3

Woot Woot - On to week 3 I go.

The challenge this week is:
Steal the “scrap-identity” of one of the other tribes members. Each team must pick a member of the other tribe to copy and the team with the best interpretation wins.
You must get together with your tribe and choose ONE person from the other tribe to steal the "scrap-identity" of. Each tribe member must scrap this persons way.
You will be judged on how well your team mimics your chosen opponent.

So tribe Glua Glua choose Steph AKA Bronte10 style.

LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 2

I made it through week 1 as the Paper Pushers tribe did not have all members participate so they went to tribal council and voted off 2 of their members.

This weeks challenge is you must draw inspiration from two places. The first being these first three animal pictures:

LCOM Scrap-Ivor Week 1

So I've convinced Carolyn and Melissa to join a scrapbooking challenge taking place at Let's Capture Our Memories called Scrap-Ivor.
Scrap-Ivor goes like this:
Everyone who joins will be split into two tribes...each tribe will have a private forum to chat, plan and share your ideas and work. Each tribe will have a tribe
leader which you yourselves will vote for once you are in your private forums. You will plan together and name your tribe.

You will receive your challenge on Sunday morning, your work will be due Thursday at midnight. The tribe leader will post your work Friday and your votes will be
cast by Friday at midnight... results posted on Saturday and away we ago again for another week!

This contest will run for 10 weeks.

There will be a hidden immunity idol which you will receive clues for once we have started...and of course some special rewards along the way!!!

How cool is that?!?!

So Week 1 Challenge is:

Everyone must participate in this challenge and your tribe must --

complete a layout with a retro style,
complete a layout with 2 pictures on it,
complete a layout with an OLD picture on it.

Your tribe must have AT least 3 people complete each of these challenges.
