Hiya - I just thought that I would drop in and share some of the sibling/family photos that we had taken last weekend. I have always wanted to use the railway tracks in a family photo, so while visit my sister in Rothesay, NB, I couldn't help but setup a little photo shoot. Thanks Mom, Crystal and BJ for your patience, it was so HOT and thanks to Tanya for taking the photos for me. :)

Scrapping Slump

So, I have been in a bit of scrapping slump since January. The LSS that I worked at and LOVED closed and I just couldn't bring myself to scrapbook. However, I have the itch to get back into it after a "girly" get together on Wednesday night.
So this morning, I decided to search some of my favorite blogs/galleries for inspiration. I looked through hundreds of pages but was completely uninspired. Then I remembered that there was a blog that I had bookmarked that I lost when my computer crashed. So I went to Amanda Muirhead (PEI Girl) blog It's All In The Details and it was EXACTLY the inspiration that I needed.
Amanda's talent is like no others...Thanks Amanda for keeping the WOW factor in scrapbooking. :)

Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL)

I recently purchased the Sure Cuts A Lot program (AKA SCAL) and I am in LOVE ♥!

For anyone that doesn't know what SCAL is, "Sure Cuts A Lot" is an extremely easy program to allow you to cut your True Type computer fonts and various shapes on your Cricut Machine. With the combination of using your Fonts and importing custom artwork (SVG), the possibilities are endless!

The best part - it is incredibly easy to use.

I am completely hooked and I haven't even used it for scrapbooking yet. I have been using it to design vinyl wall designs for my new home. Check out some of the before and after photos of my designs.
